Ringo Starr!

A few weeks back we surprised Henry with a concert to Ringo Starr.
We hiked up the hill of the Santa Barbara Bowl (possibly the most beautiful venue on earth) in our Beatles gear.

Then rocked the night away with Ringo and his "All Starr Band."

Including some blasts from the 80s such as:
  • Steve Lukather (Toto) – vocals, lead and rhythm guitar
  • Gregg Rolie (Santana and Journey) – vocals, organ, keyboards
  • Todd Rundgren (Nazz, Utopia and The New Cars) – vocals, lead and rhythm guitar, bass guitar on "You Are Mine", percussion on "Bang the Drum All Day", harmonica, keyboard on "Love is the Answer"
  • Richard Page (Mr. Mister) – vocals, bass guitar, acoustic guitar on "You Are Mine"
  • Warren Ham (Bloodrock and AD) – vocals, saxophone, percussion, keyboards
  • Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth)– drums, percussion, backing vocals

Last night we asked Henry who he would like to see next in concert if he could see anyone. He said, "George" (Harrison of course). For some kids finding out Santa is not real is heart breaking. For Henry, the day we let on that there are only 2 living Beatles will be devastating.

Until then...there's always Paul (we have row 12 tickets in LA next weekend!) Henry is one lucky Beatles fan. Let's just hope Walker doesn't take a liking for heavy metal!
